• February 15, 2016.   The League has now instituted an official membership level of up to 50 executives worldwide.   Applicants beyond the current limit will be placed on a waiting list.       
• January 1, 2016.   Relaunch of the League as an exclusive invitation-only virtual organization membership club for chairmen and chief executives of Forbes Global 2000 companies … and heads of state.  The League of Extraordinary Virtual Organization Executives now operates as a separate entity and division of VOMI (Virtual Organization Management Institute) and is NO LONGER the designated name of a VOMI virtual organization performance award or social network group.
• December 31, 2015.  Effective this date, the League of Extraordinary Virtual Organization Executives Award is no longer issued and all related groups on various social networks are effectively obsolete and inactive.
• January 2015.     The award  became strictly restricted to outstanding VOMI  Postdoctoral Virtual Organization Fellowship recipients. 
• January 2014.     The award was expanded to include outstanding VOMI virtual organization executives.   
• January 2013.     The award was expanded to include outstanding fellowship recipients. 
• January 2011.     The award was expanded to include outstanding VOMI virtual organization interns.   One or more social network groups with the same name were formed during that time period.   
• January 2010.     Originally conceived in 2010 as an Award to outstanding VOMI Virtual Organization Academy graduates.
